iPod touch FW 3.0 for 1st generation?

Does anybody know whether or not the iPhone 3.0 Firmware for the iPod touch will be available for the first generation touch?

It will be, you won't get all of the features though due to hardware. For example, it has no bluetooth chip, so it can't do P2P gaming. But you'll get all of the search features, the landscape modes, copy/paste, and some of the other enhanced features in the games and other apps.
