    Basically any MLC technology SSD drive is considered "garbage" except for the Intel ones, and those cost a fortune. The one you linked and many others are based on the JMicron controller which has a documented case of stuttering/pausing issues. We're not talking short pauses either... we're talking from 1 second to a whole minute freezing, etc.

    However, some users on this forum have stated they haven't experienced these issues on the Mac. The first person to discover and document the issue though claimed he noticed the problem originally on his Macbook Pro. So take your pick on who you want to believe. The original article is here.
