G3 with 2 GB RAM

There are PC133 512mb Chips will they work? Thanks

I think the G3 can only handle 1GB, but I might be mistaken.

Blue & White G3s will only take 1GB of ram (4x128).

Yeah I'm almost 100% positive it will only take 256mb x4 so 1gb is the max it can accept.

You're right. 4x128mb (512mb) is Apple's "official" maximum.

The G3 b/w won't recognize a 512mb stick, each individual RAM slot can only recognize 256mb and below. Also, some machines have trouble with downspeeding, so not every machine can use PC133 (though most can; in the 7 I've owned only 1 wouldn't take PC133). If you want to be 100% safe, PC100 is the better choice.
