My trusty Powerbook G4 laptop's second Apple battery has now died (lasts around 5 minutes off line at what it says is full charge). Anyone have advice on replacements? $157 (equivalent) for the original compared to $63 (equivalent) for Seamac or $25 for Portacell. That's a big enough difference to make one think. The few reviews I've found for non Apple ones seem to be 50:50 good and bad. Bearing in mind age of machine what do the experts here advise? and what experience have others had? I am in India so if anyone has G4 12ins dying but with usable battery, do please let me know....Thks
