Hi!

I wil buy a G4 cube on e..y. The problem is that I want to use it like media center (tv series, web movies...). The 16 MB video card have ADC and VGA ports. My tv have S-video and RCA inputs.
I search the web and find an ADC to DVI cable converter (all digital, no?), and another DVI to S-VIDEO cable converter (from apple).
The cuestion is if this configuration works proplerly:
(2X AGP ATI Rage 128 Pro graphics card with 16 MB) by ADC to DVI, and this DVI to S-video, to TV (analog tv).

ADC to DVI: http://www.macconnection.com/IPA/Shop/Product/Detail.htm?sku=207891
DVI to S-video: http://store.apple.com/es/product/M9267G/A?fnode=home/shop_mac/mac_accessories/cables&mco=MzU4NDA

http://store.apple.com/es/product/MA026ZM/A?fnode=home/shop_mac/mac_accessories/cables&mco=MjU2NDY1

If anyone know something... I don´t find a positive confirmation.

Thanks!

David

ADC supports both digital and analog video signals, however I believe the ADC to DVI converter only outputs a digital signal (based on the info I have found). S-VHS and Composite RCA are analog, so the ADC to DVI converter would also need to output an analog signal for it to work.

If the ADC to DVI converter uses a DVI-I output (not DVI-D), then it should also output an analog signal which would then work with the Apple DVI to Video converter cable.
