G4 dig. audio processor upgrade

Hi all

Have a g4 digital audio(single pprocessor) and a G4 1250mhz processor(DP), was wondering if icould put the 1250mhz processor in the G4 digital audio?
I geuss not, but then again i was wondering..😀

Is the 1.25GHz processor an OEM Apple processor or an aftermarket one? The only PowerMacs that ran at 1.25Ghz from the factory were the Mirror Drive Door systems and their processors are not compatible with older Macs. If the processor came from some place like Sonnet Technologies, Fast Mac, Gigadesigns, etc, then it should work in the DA PowerMac. You just need to check their website.
