Hello,

Thought people might be interested in this. My mother's iMac G4 decided to spit the dummy and the LCD stopped working. Fortunately, she had the cash to buy a G5 and the G4 still ran an external monitor, so here's what I did:

A G5 !! Your mother sounds cool
 
I think you should paint it. Make it more unique. A deep metallic black sounds cool to me. Look into Vinyl Dyes, you can get them at larger auto-parts stores. They change the color of the plastic instead of putting paint over it.

Might just look into that ;) Or I could electroplate it :D

you should sell it on Ebay as one of a kind apple prototype
i bet it gets big bids
