Hello,

Thought people might be interested in this. My mother's iMac G4 decided to spit the dummy and the LCD stopped working. Fortunately, she had the cash to buy a G5 and the G4 still ran an external monitor, so here's what I did:

I think you should paint it. Make it more unique. A deep metallic black sounds cool to me. Look into Vinyl Dyes, you can get them at larger auto-parts stores. They change the color of the plastic instead of putting paint over it.

Might just look into that 😉 Or I could electroplate it 😀

that is SWEET, you sould put the arm back on and connect a CRT to it 😀
