Video solution

Im set on speakers and sound cards... got that all fig'd out.

As far as video cards go I am a little more undecided.... (ok; im all confused to the point of insanity) Nobody seems to be making anything good for us Mac fans. ATI has some USB stuff; but I will be damned before I run USB video through a $10,000 home theater system. (psst: apple....video technology... digital hub, baby!!!)

Specifically I will be running a digital cable signal into the G4 and then projecting it onto a 100" motorized screen.. hope to gain some TiVO functionality and some other toys to play with 🙂

Im planning on having to snatch up one of these boxes but have heard both good and bad.... Any input would be great.... hell; if there are any solutions i am all ears...

I will be doing some DVD authoring and dig the idea of the box having a firewire hard drive... but to save 800 bucks, will just the card work? Is the card OSX compatable?
