I have a G4 MDD Dual 1.4 that has been running fine, no major issues, hardly ever crashes, etc. It recently crashed, I restarted, and it crashed again, and all it shows is some Unix things, I was just going to install OSX again, but holding down "C" doesn't start the boot process. I have no idea how to use unix. I don't know exactly what it says, I am using a different computer now (obviously) Do I have to type in some commands to get it to boot?

Try resetting the PRAM. hold down Apple-Option-P-R at boot, and wait to hear the boot chime three times, then let go and see if it boots normally.
