G4 MDD weird memory issue

Hi, I have a 1.42MDD (OC to 1.5ghz). The machine works great with one ram stick. When ever I use a second one (even an identical to the first one Kingston PC2700) I get random Kernel Panics, specially on Firefox/Safari. Works great with just one stick

I tried with a regualr 1.42ghz baord and same issue

I have tried with several ram sticks and its always the same, works with1, freezes with more than 1

Sounds to me like bad ram. Do you have any other compatible ram you can test it with?

I have four 512mb simms. They all work great when there is only 1 simm. If I put in more than 1 I gte the lockups

Maybe a bad ram slot.... Check to see if there's any dirt or debris in the slot

ready to give up, swapped slots, different pairs...

but with only 512mb (ant simm) works great
