Hi, I have an ibook G4. Whenever I use it with an mp3 player too add or delete files, the mp3 player seems to fill up with invisible files, until it's full. Once full it won't work. The files on the mp3 player's (different brands) seem to be in a folder called 'Trash' which I cannot access or delete.

Does anybody have any idea what's causing this? It's ruining equipment! Thanks very much.

OSX keeps record of what you have deleted by putting the deleted items in a hidden folder on each drive you plug into it (Including MP3 players with drag/drop) They wont disapear properly until you empty your trash.

Try plugging your mp3 player in then emptying trash see if that helps
