G4 PB Backlit keyboard problem...

The controls in the System preferences for the back light have disappeared.
I've just done an erase and install of the OS again and this hasn't solved the problem!

Has anyone got any ideas??

They probably just don't like you. Maybe try resetting your PRAM, and your PMU if that doesn't do anything. 🙂
