You should back up EVERYTHING. I give them the password for my second admin account, and put anything sensitive (ie porn, software I didn't pay for...) in my home folder.

Thanks for all your responses. The machine's been behaving itself pretty well over the last few days, only cutting out occasionally. Once I get some urgent work out of the way, I'll bring it to Apple for them to have a look at.
