Hey i happen to like DMB....although i have to admit that their last CD was a piece of crap.
 
Another reason behind rebates this time of year is to help push through inventory to educational markets, which will be willing to buy in quantity for labs for which the present model is good enough (I saw B&W G3s sold this way although Yikes and Sawtooth were available by the end of summer or so).

Although, if i were a school, I'd rather have the eMac, unless a superdrive was needed.
 
Revision seems obvious

There is obviously some sort of revision on the way, as the rebates end just before MWNY!?

Whether it's a G5 or just a better G4 is another question.
But I guess we'll find out soon enough!
