I have a regular lcd monitor that has no problem being detected, and a second dvi to s-video adapter that is not being detected. It has worked for me in the past, but recently I disassembled and reassembled my computer setup, and now it wont detect my second display.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

You need to be a little more specific. Your subject line says the G5 can't detect a second display. But then you say you have an LCD that looks fine. But you're actually using a DVI to S-Video adapter... so are you attaching a display or a TV? Also, I'm assuming this is a PowerMac G5 and not an iMac? And have you tried switching the plugs around?

yeah sorry...
it is a DVI to S-Video adapter hooked up to my PowerMac G5. I have tried switching them around. When i plug in the s-video adapter, the lcd screen refreshes, but it still wont detect the second display.
