I'm kind of grabbing at straws here. I'm trying to boot my old G5 and the white light begins to blink twice about every second or so. The ram is ok, I checked it on a friend's pc that uses the same ram. I have been told by a TS guy that two blinks is bad ram.

Can two blinks indicate anything else? I'm wondering if the drive might have been compramised in some way during shipping. Thanks for your time.

This usually means the RAM is not detected. Use this article on Apple. Look at the LEDs on the logic board and see if anything shows up. Make sure the RAM is plugged in well.

EDIT: Make sure that the RAM chops are plugged into the correct sockets. Use this article.
