G5 Geforce 5200 FX to G4 modification possible??

Alright, I recently got a G5 geforce fx 5200 video card that I want to mod via this guide here

But before I shred my card, I'm curious if anyone else has tried this and want to be sure it's not a hoax. Thanks all!

I'm not as daring as you. I would just sell the G5 card and buy one of the flashed ones floating around eBay which work with slower systems. But it seems to me that the guide is legit.. good luck!

old thread here, but that mod does work and i have one personally in my quicksilver. i"m just wondering if doing that same mod to a mac x800 will show the same results 🤔
