G5, HP DVD1040i Support

Hey, I got a HP DVD1040i DVD Writer to replace my old optical drive. But, I need a driver for it, I looked on the HP website but, I could not find it. Need it to burn a iso file to a DL DVD because my other drive does not support DL DVD...

In short, "Drivers" do not exist in Mac World. If it isn't recognized, I doubt anyone has a kext that will allow it to be recognized in your PowerMac.
