Hello everyone,

My friend bought a 17" 1.8Ghz SuperDrive iMac G5. He uses a dial-up internet connection and has 1 phone line. Every time he turns on the iMac it wants to dial up to get an internet connection. He of course does not want this to happen because he only has one phone line. (i told him just to get cable or DSL lol)

Are there any solutions to this problem?

He needs to open the preferences dialog, and disable allowing to "dial on demand."

I always thought it was disabled by default :/
