if you knew you loved the looks and style of the G5, why waste our time? was it to show off that in the end you got a "quad core G5"

i do not understand why someone would invest in a technology which is being phased out.

perhaps i will reference you and your decision in an essay of mine about the commodity and aesthetics over functionality.
 
For a reason I, to this day, cannot figure out, people always seem to underestimate the power of a G5, and overestimate the requirements for apps. G5's work well as mid-end machines these days, and they have way more power then the average computer user needs.

be my guest, i dident get a quad. I got a dual and i dont think geting a g5 is anything to brag about, i posted this because at the time i had no idea what to do and i needed to know if most of the G5's had failure rates and such
 
mods, please close this, maybe ill create a debate thread for the usability of ppc lol
