Are these normal temps for a PM G5 dual core 2.3 with 2 HDDs?

air tunnel 37.6 c
air tunnel heatsink 33.4 c
cpu a core 1 45.8 c
cpu a core 2 47.2 c
drive bay 34 c
GPU 55 c
main logic board backside 44.5 c
memory controller diode 59.8 c

Thats actually cooler than my June 04 dual 2.0GHz systems. Just figured I'd chime in since they're also air cooled.

Thats why they never made a G5 laptop 🙄

That and the battery would only last like 30 minutes 😱

My intel macbooks have always run hotter then my G5 ever did though. Kind of annoying.

Yes my MBP CD seems to run a tad bit too warm. Hotter than my G5 anyways. I'm thinking it's mainly just the crappy thermal paste job I've been reading about. Good weekend project I guess, cleaning off all that junk and applying Arctic Silver 5 😀

I don't even wanna think about a G5 laptop 😱
