I just moved and had to change my net connection. They made me get a mobile router (Huawei). My G5 doesn't seem to have Wifi so my option was to use the USB cable connection. Apparently I'm supposed to get instructions once I connect the cable but there's nothing. Finder does show the router and the apps, and the driver was installed. The G5 got a panic after installation, though...
Should this work anyway..? What to do next..?

@Lud DiLettante Most likely the driver provided by Huawei is for Intel Macs only, and was simply not set to prevent installation on a PowerPC Mac. I recommend getting yourself a wireless adapter, either by getting a genuine AirPort card or a USB adapter. If you choose the USB adapter route, the Netgear WNA1000M is quite affordable, has great Wireless N performance and looks pretty good.
