Hi

My G5 dual core (late 2005) is giving me real problems.

I have tried all the basics, resetting PMU, PRAM etc. changing RAM but still the same Kerenel Panic on start up.

I want to instal tiger from installation DVD, the hard drive on the G5 has been reformatted because it was showing errors and I thought that was the cause of the problem. Now i can't even boot form the DVD.

here is what it says..

What Install DVDs are you booting from? Is it a retail Tiger DVD? I'd try the original disks if you're not already. Looks to be freaking out because it doesn't know the mac model.
