Ok. very bad. My startup disk (the normal disk that i use) keeps randomly filling up. It happened the other day (i had about 100gb left originally), so I freed 40gb up, and I was going fine. It just said that I have got no space whatsoever on my hard drive now! What do I do?? What could cause 40gb to fill in a few days without me downloading anything or saving barley anything

I can't download. no space. oh wait. my external hard drive. ok

EDIT: i downloaded disk inventory x, what do i do with really big files?

holy crap! my console.log was 150gb!!! should I ust delete it or should I use a special tool or something?

it wont let me delete it. it says that it is in use. is there a way to delete it through the tiger setup disc?

Log out then back in while holding shift to repress all startup items and try deleting it again. If that doesn't work try booting in safe mode (hold shift until you get to the grey screen while restarting).

I've had this problem before as well, although my console.log was only 15gb.
