So apparently the Alpha was not a one off. It's a new line of devices. This is the new Galaxy A5. I think it looks stunning. I think this is a good sign of where the Galaxy S line may go. But please don't lose the removable back to replace the battery.

Would still like to see hardware like this for Windows phone.

It's okay I guess. I'm not sure it looks as premium as the S line.

The design does have a nice 'premium' look to it. IMO though it looks so much like a iPhone 4S/5 hybrid that it's almost eerie  (I'm not on the anti-Samsung team btw, please don't hit me!)

They look nice but they need to keep the removable back, SD card slot and high end specs. I wouldn't sacrifice any of those things for better build quality.

I think it looks like a chamfered brick...bordering on hideous.

You mean like this?

The galaxy A6 will be rounded and have plastic antenna lines on the back aluminum panel

Personally, I love the new Samsung designs. I always hated the touch id button on the iphone and the large bezels. Samsung is doing a good job with the design.
