LOL. LCD and no headphone jack? Yeah, and people were making fun of Apple.
Not sure why people are so fascinated with these overpriced Samsung and Pixel phones.
Redmi K20, faster SoC (SD730) than this M40, AMOLED screen, both ultrawide AND telephoto lens, and cheaper. Oh, and it has headphone jack as well.

The redmi isn’t readily available outside of Asia. There are many great android phones which aren’t available to me in the UK unless I import them and then I loose out on warranty and after sales support.
Wouldn’t get the M40 as it doesn’t have an Oled display but it’s good to see Samsung getting more competitive in the mid range market.
I still think if I were going to get a midrange phone I’d get the pixel 3a as it ticks most of my boxes.

Pixel 3a outdoes this without even considering the camera. There's a zero percent chance the camera on this is close to the Pixel 3a
Not to defend the Samsung, but this phone and the Pixel 3a are actually not even in the same price range. The Pixel 3a is almost double the price of the M40 (or to put it the other way, the M40 is almost half the price of the Pixel 3a. The Galaxy A70 is probably closer to be a direct competitor for the Pixel 3a. And there are some things that you will never get from the Pixel 3a, like dual SIM, dual apps, etc.
