I suspect that the poo analogy wasn't meant to be literally correct, but rather just meant to show that your "extreme numbers" comment was a little bit silly and out of place.

Ira something apple should of added with the plus. One of the reasons I love the note line.

I thought I saw a rumor somewhere that Apple will add Multi-Windows in 8.1 which will be launched in Feb-March. Apparently this was a feature that couldn't get finished in time and was pushed back. Hope it's true but I don't have a 6+.

Interesting, that would be great for them. It's really nice to have and just one of those feature you are tempted to discount until you actually have available to use and realize how productive it can make you. It all falls into tools that for me allow me to leave my tablet at home the vast majority of the time. I really only take my tablet if I'm staying somewhere overnight or have a very long train ride, or need to take an extensive amount of notes at a meeting.

I've always said if Apple puts in a stylus I'd consider going back to them, but there is no way I'd leave the Note series until then, you couldn't pry the stylus from my cold dead hands.

I've really struggled to find a single use for Multi Window that equates to making me "more productive." And I've tried.

Its not so much an issue of the use case...I can dream up several. But "productivity" for me usually equates to typing and when I go to multi window. That pretty much kills any scenario I've imagined.

As a result, I've used Multi Window maybe a dozen times on my Note 3 and it was always to show off to someone else.

For me it's any time I need a calculator

On my SP3 I'll be studying, have a notetaking app open and snap a calculator app right next to it so I don't have to app switch. The Note 4 has the same use case

Or a maps app next to a website or email with the address. It's quicker than app switching

I use the stylus to write a lot, and to have a note open you can handwrite in is just a plus for anything you are doing. I can be in a phone call, browsing the internet, etc and still find a use to be able to write a note using OneNote or any other app.

Another one I use all the time is having my navigation open and a smaller window with my audio books so I can control them while driving. Or having my navigation and phone screen open. I try not to do much while driving, but it's nice to have things at a glance like that.

Also having text messages or emails open in another window so I don't miss anything.

Having a live video feed of my 2 year old in daycare as a multi window never gets old.

That's only the tip of the iceberg. I couldn't live without this feature. It only makes sense on a large phone like the Note, or on a full tablet though.

I've used it mostly to calculate stuff that I'm reading off a PDF or website, so I can enter the figures while reading them off the open document/site. I've also used it a lot to take notes off a document I am reading, so that I don't have to copy/switch app/paste/switch app all the time, or read/switch app/write note/switch app. Lastly I've used it to chat with my gf while watching a longer Youtube clip or video that I didn't want to interrupt.

Oh and the secret Youtube trick, for listening to a tune on Youtube with the phone in the pocket, without accidentally closing Youtube and cutting off the tune - open a secondary window for chrome with an empty page or whatever, and resize so that the Youtube window is narrow and inactive. Rather crude but I know nothing else that works in that situation 😛

Anyway, all those times I found it pretty useful, though I expect to use it more with the Note 4 which will be faster to set it up, where you can resize and move the windows more freely and also initiate multi screen mode faster by just clicking in the corner of an open app in the app switcher.
 
honestly I rarely if ever find myself using multi-window anymore. It's just not user friendly enough for me. It is a cool feature though
 
I use multi-window all the time.

When I'm writing an email and need to copy and paste some info, I'll open the second window and get what I need.
Same for when I'm browsing different forums and want to post or make a reply that needs a quote or info, I open the second window and get what I need.

If I didn't have it I wouldn't have even thought how useful it can be. But having used it, I am happy to have that ability.

I didn't find Multi-window that useful when I had a Note 2 as two 2.5-3" screens is just too small for me. However, I found it quite useful on the Note 10.1 (2014) tablet--problem was at the time the number of compatible apps was a bit sparse.

I don't care if the functionality ever makes it to the iPhone 6+ but would love to see it on the iPad Air.

Even if that's the case it would perform awfully with a measly 1gb of RAM...

Yeah, if I they got rid of it, I wouldn't be crying about it, but it does make my work flow easier.
I do use it a lot when I'm on my windows machine. Love it when I'm able to open a spread sheet on one side and then open my notes on the other.
I would love it if Apple implemented it into OSX. I like all platforms, but I have to use OSX for 8hrs a day and split window would be better than me using spaces for certain things.

True. Apple knew just by increasing the size of the 6 would get them record sales. For the 6S+, maybe, they'll increase the ram. It would be a big selling point. For Apple to get s pen functionality, it would take a hell of a developer.

Multi-window, on the 4, looks good.

With Apple pay going to be popular will that increase a support for Google wallet? Idk how Google wallet works but I'm on the fence of the 6+ and note 4. Apple always works but man I miss mr number telling me if the calls are spam. Really really on the fence

The S cycle has always been about spec bumps. I wouldn't be surprised if the 6s didn't jump up in megapixels, RAM, and new color options.
