you could easily provide fat via nuts and the like. They contain little carbs and, while they're more than calorie-dense, pretty much can substitute fish / meat.

No carbs isn't the answer. Just reducing calories is sufficient for a time until your body adapts, then you can play with insulin sensitivity instead of no carbs you are just selective which carbs you eat depending on a glycemic index, timing of day, etc. That's the reason no carb diets work well, because you throw out the bad high glycemic index carbs with the beneficial low glycemic index carbs, but carbs are still a very important part of the diet and should predominate in portions.

Weird, as I do have MW Pen app enabler, and while it works with some apps it doesn't work with Twitter - it just force closes each time I open it.

Hate to be repetitive but I am just stunned by the batt life of this thing 😀 took it off charge at 11am, I then went for lunch with mates to another mates place in an area with poor signal, and when I got home there was no power (thank you Eskom Load Shedding), my Note 4 still had plenty life to keep going despite heavy use, power cameback at 6:30pm, its now 9:15pm, still got 38%.
I just can't get over the battery life 😀 and with our now unstable power grid here in South Africa, I am so glad I got this beast as I can confidently use it heavily at work and during weekends and know that it will get over the possible 4-5hour power outage wherever I am.

The funny part is that due to its brilliant batt. life I hardly ever truly get to appreciate fast charge as I throw it on charge only when I go to bed, but fast charge does come in handy when wanting a quick top up e.g. when I get back from work on a friday and then go out, I usually get back at 4-5am the next morning and usually not in a state of mind to be thinking of charging my phone, and by the time I get up that afternoon its still at around 90-95% despite being in a nightclub with poor signal, using the phone for Uber and taking pics, just brilliant!

I haven't tried it, had my Note 4 for over a month now and I haven't managed to get it under 20% battery as I always prefer to charge when I am asleep so that the next day I get up and not worry about having to charge up at all.
One of these days I'll bring it down to 1% before charging and see how effective UPS Mode is when it gets to 10%.
On my T-Mo-branded F model, it also crashes from time to time - particularly when bringing up the list of recent apps. However, I'd say 70% of the time it works.
Anyone know if there is a way to change the order of the photos in the gallery? I have an album of photos and tried dragging some to a different order, and it does not seem to work.

If you don't mind using an alternative gallery, Quick Pic is highly recommended.
When I use for intense Google Earth navigation, yeah it gets warm in the upper right third quadrant even if you touch the screen there with the back of your finger but I wouldn't call that overheating, it doesn't last long or affect the device's performance or usability.
Really important to distinguish "being hot" from "overheating." Transfering heat to the body is how the device handles thermal output (like how an active-cooled system outputs warm air) and it's normal for it to feel warm when the SoC is working.
Actual overheating would imply that the device is throttling excessively under light workloads or even shutting down due to overheating. Unless it's a defective unit this should only really be possible in an extremely hot environment (especially with direct sunlight).
Anyway the most obvious thing is to look at the active processes and see if some background process is wasting CPU cycles. 3D Games are obvious choices (for example Real Racing 3 will use 3-5% CPU at all times in the BG).
To make sure the CPU is managing heat properly you could try running a benchmark like Geekbench. If there's a problem with the thermals the scores should come back abnormally low, especially if you run it a couple times in a row.

Okay, well I could do those tests in a few minutes. I had the S5 and that was abnormally hot on the countless of models I had. My last one heated up with cleared RAM and just internet usage. I might buy the Nexus 6 and trade it to him for his Note 4, so we will see how that will go.
Anyone know a case that will fit the Note 4 with the qi charging back?

Interesting: when I plug the fast charger to 110V, it says "Adaptive fast charger connected." But with 220V, it say just "Fast charger connected." Can anyone on 220V confirm? I didn't notice any obvious change in charging rate. Or maybe the message depends on current charge level?
What about using the S-View case? I'm planning to purchase it as it seems to be an OK solution for both quick(!) Qi charging, protection and (because of the magnets) quick resuming of the phone.
I had the s-view for my Note 3 and didn't like it.
Was a pain to open and fold the cover over when using one handed.
I took it off after couple of months and it's been in the box ever since.
Samsung qi back is much better than the qi stickers from my experience with my Note 3. Only issue its thicker and its a little heavier.
Mine on 220v says "fast charger connected". I don't have a 110v outlet handy to test though.
Anyway, I've been using the note 4 for about 2 weeks now, Exynos version. I'm loving the features, the screen and the speed. This thing is fast! It's faster and smoother than my ipad air. "Android lag vs ios smoothness" no longer exists.
What I'm not liking is the battery. I'm not getting anywhere near what they say in reviews, or even what other people post in forums. Tried everything but couldn't find a cause, I'm starting to worry I have a bad unit.. And considering my previous experience with Samsung support, I don't think it will be easy to replace it.. They'll just say I'm using it wrong and refuse to acknowledge a problem.
Anyone also experiencing worse than expected battery life?

How's your cellular connectivity? Battery life on any device takes a huge hit if it's struggling to maintain a reasonable strong network connection--constantly searching for signal, etc.
