OK.
I don't care what people think and I absolutely hate Samsung.
Is Samsung a person, a religion, a country? Must it be revered? Must I love it? Must I say it's a wonderful company when the Galaxies 2, 3, 5, and Note 4 that I've used have turned bin worthy after one year, having been rendered into a slow buggy load of processed bovine feed after the first upgrade? Must I love the company that produces a refrigerator that I bought in 2012 and whose freezer died in 2016? How many 20 year old Frigidaire are out there, working just fine? And what about a five year old Samsung washer? There are 30 year old Maytags working just fine.
So in what alternate reality would I love a company whose products have had a five year lifetime for a major appliance whose competitors are doing fine after 20? And why would I love a company whose phones are bin worthy after one year, when I still have an iPhone 6 from work that's running fine?
It's a company. It's OK to hate it. It hasn't got feelings. It would be ridiculous for me to say ooooooooo i LOVE Samsung after my four year old major appliance decides to give up the ghost.....
So yeah. I don't care what people think of my wish to have Apple steer clear of Samsung. And I hate Samsung.
And no. It isn't just me.
