I'm a bit bummed they didn't do overnight, so we may possibly get it the day after everyone else does. But I've waited this long, I can wait a bit more.

Just found out yesterday we are actually getting the Snapdragon version and not the Exynos as was the case with the S7/S7 Edge in Canada. A few of my friends have already canceled their Pre-orders and are now waiting to buy the international version. Dang.

I always use basic mode. I prefer 100% SRGB accuracy over artifical saturation.

Must remember too that display-mate base their 'accuracy' awards of the device using 'basic' SRGB mode.

Awesome thanks. I didn't know they based their testing on that basic mode. When I had Nexus 6p I turned on full SRGB too and preferred it.

I use photo mode, I find cinema mode too over saturated and the color hurts my eyes as times, and adaptive will on occasion have that same saturation level. Basic is good too, but I prefer the little extra pop of photo mode.
Good Tip. Ill try them both.

My case will be coming on Friday. Really liked this case on my Note 5, hopefully the Note 7 version is just as good.

How grippy was the back on the note 5 version?
Pretty grippy. The pattern is made of rubber. The only thing I don't like about it is it's a little on the thick side. It's not too thick, like say an otter box, but its thicker than those feather like cases.

It's also really easy to put on and take off, which I really like as I usually take the case off when I get home.

Thanks. I think this may be a better option than the Spigen because of the grippy ridges. Spigen's is a little slick. They recently added that pattern but the Caseology still looks grippier.

When I get home tonight I'll post some picture of my Note 5 with the case so you can get a better idea.

So I got to play with one of these earlier.
Long story short, I got me a part time Saturday job at CarPhoneWarehouse to go along with my full time job as I've just bought my first house so need some extra funding!

Currently on a 2 day training course with the company and we had a Samsung rep come in and talk to us all about the Note 7! Handed about 10 of them round so I got my first hands on with everything, the S pen, the iris scanner, the feel etc.

It's a lovely phone. I'm not huge on the S7 designs, but this is like a balance between the 2. It's not massive either, which I almost expected.

The iris scanner works OK, almost the same as my Lumia 950 with is pretty good. Don't know why anyone would choose it over fingerprint though, as it isn't quite as responsive.

The pen is brilliant, and the possibilities with it are just phenomenal. It's a gif makers dream! Could definitely have a lot of fun with it. I liked it a lot.

The display models were black, and it looked really nice but I definitely think the phone will shine in silver. Might be worth waiting for as the black was cool, but man it attracts fingerprints and looks smudgy as soon as you pick it up.

I'm still not crazy on Samsung OS, and think that compared to Android stock it is lacking slightly. It's almost too polished. But that's something I'm probably in the minority on!

The camera looked incredible from the little play I had. Nothing to compare it to (as we were in a classroom environment) so couldn't whip my 950 out to do a comparison. But the rep seemed to think it was the best camera onthe market according to critics, and I'm in no position to disagree. The Lumia camera is
incredible though, so I would be really keen to do a proper comparison!

All in all I left wanting one, and did ask what would happen if I stole it when he opened the group to questions! Basically I'd be arrested so I decided against it :D.

In other unrelated news, had a nice play with a Huawei P9 which I enjoyed, and during an android presentation i had a hands on with a 6P, which I really really disliked.

Intense day, but good day! :)

It sounds like a lot of people here wouldn't mind that day you just had. Thanks for sharing.

Not that I doubt you, but where did you find this out? Not planning to buy the device, but if that’s true, I know a few friends who’ll be let down.
