If I were to ever go back to Android, I'd go Motorola or HTC. At least they put some thought into the build quality and materials.

Nah. I'd go with Sony ... 3 buttons was their idea at the dawn of Gingerbread, plus I prefer their ecosystem maturity beyond others in Droid:
SmartWatch
Movies & TV (its Sony come on already!)
PS3 Games will get a HUGE push in days!

Xperia TX or V (the latter is water and dust resistant just like the Razr DRoid lineup is).

But it doesn't use NFC. The bump app is in the google play store too.

Nfc is native to the gs3. You dont need no app to do that.
