With the Samsung watch, is it possible to add a separate line to it? I have a co-worker who has the last generation and he had a separate line connected to the watch. Apparently, T-Mobile does this for $5 a month.

This is correct. They charge $15 for the watch and then apply a $10 credit each month. Comes out to about $7 with taxes for the watches line.

After owning a iPhone 3GS/4/4S/5/5S/6/6S I thought let's give the Samsung S7 a chance.
This cause of the good reviews of the S7 and I felt iOS has become very very dull and most important; closed system with hardly any customazation.

After 2 weeks in use now;
I must say its quite hard to switch over to Android after all the iPhone's I owned, but wow! I am really very very impressed by this Samsung S7. Samsung really hitted the bull's eye with this smartphone.
Photo's are a real beauty, software, TouchWiz, is pretty good ( I am using the Nova Launcher).
But most important to me; the level of customazation with Android really ''impresses'' me. As Apple is nearly completely closed. That's why I looked at alternatives and came to the Samsung S7.

Further, this S7 is really fast in daily use and master in multi tasking.
As a iPhone junkie I am sold to this piece of ''art'' by Samsung 😉

Yeah the thing i realised after getting the edge is it's amazing how quickly i forgot how great customization is.

I use Nova and wow you can do so much on this launcher and add as much as you want and have it how you want the phone. Easily best camera on a phone also.

Nova is so awesome...you can customise so much on the look and feel. Then you can backup to Dropbox or Google Drive and have your settings available to use on any phone you want if you have multiple phones. so convenient!

I don't know how to explain it but I am assuming it is just a comfort/timing thing.

I think the S7E is one of the best phones in the last 3-5 years it is that good. Hardware is the best in the business, amazing screen, and a camera off the charts.

That said, it still feels a little "clunky" when coming from iOS for me. Biggest things being sending media, lack of my apple watch, and the environment all my other devices interact with my phone (continuity on my mac/macbook, remote for apple tv, FaceTime with my family across the country). AppleMusic beta is also pretty meh but not a big deal.

The screen on the S7E doesn't seem as responsive as my iPhone as well as I seem to have to tap things multiple times for it to register within the browser.

These are not huge things, but they are still things.

With kids and living in Texas nearing summer time, I absolutely love the waterproofing and ability for those interactions with my kids in splash pads, pools, and other places with water.

I have about 5 days left before I need to decide to return it or not. I try to make Android fit into my everyday tasks versus it flowing more naturally due to the way I've built most of my surroundings.

Think you should keep the edge to be honest. You seem really happy with it and you can certainly do a lot more on it judging by your usage.

If one is on the fence I always recommend a return, they can think about it afterwards and then see if it is missed. More times than not, it isn't missed.

I talked to a TMobile rep and they said since I am on the JOD program I have a 30 day window for returns, not 14. I wanted to confirm, but that at least gives me some more time.

May be delaying the inevitable but whatever!

Yep! I've always said, customization goes a long way. It isn't just about aesthetics. It's about functionality, too.

There are millions of smartphone users in the world now (billions?). Imagine how many preferences there are for millions of different users. And for a piece of technology that we use on a near daily basis, customization makes a huge difference.

It's not that difficult a concept (customization is optional after all). And it's not that difficult to implement. Apple just chooses not to for a variety of reasons. And it's a shame.

The phone should cater to you.

This cannot be said enough. Samsung has really concentrated on the end user experience with the S7 line. The attention to detail build craftsmanship and engineering is top notch. Now with a even more optimized TW and best in class display and camera the S7 and edge are the top smartphones on the market! 🙂
Samsung listened to it's customers and gave them what they wanted and asked for.

It shouldn't be so scary to introduce customization anymore. People will know or learn how to customize. And those who don't want to bother, they can continue using their phone stock as it is out of the box. Nothing wrong with that either. I skimmed through. Doesn't make much sense though. Apple allows for customization with OSX. Why can't the same be done for iOS?

Even iOS is starting to... sort of. Third party keyboards. Why not more? And the customizations some people want are within Apple's own features. Customization for 3D Touch and Control Center, etc.

This, the general population is different from us "users" online. When I had iPhones I JB and customized every one of them as using iOS the way Apple "wanted" me to made me want to put my head through a wall lol. Same token I always rooted and rom'd my Android devices b/c its cool having a simple and clean dev rom vs a Sammy or other bloated system and Devs include or do some really cool tricks with the software/options. But there are plenty of users that are just fine using whatever carrier version of Android their using. I prefer not to be a sheeple 😀

That said Sammy really hit a home run with this phone, tried the Edge but like the reg S7 better. Yeah there's still some annoying bloat and it irks me seeing constantly in the Playstore wanting to "update", but this version of TW not only is blazing fast and smooth and responsive but it looks good as well, even navigating it is so much better than previously.

Yesterday was out with fam at brunch and had someone take pics of us, the guy was liek damn this phone takes nice pics lol.

Not experiencing that myself.

Do you experience it only in a certain app? Is it something with Swiftkey keyboard?

I know using the MacRumors website on Chrome, typing can get wonky. But it's only at this site.

My problem with the Samsung keyboard is that when I tap an edit, it doesn't move onto the next word if it corrects it for me. Strange. Swiftkey has always been my go to since I got it.

Remember folders back in the day, something Android did way before lol. One of the first things I would do when JB'ing was adding the folder setup in Cydia. Then Apple finally brought out their, half assed version, of folders lol.... and sheeple thought it was the holy mecca of inventions from Apple.
