Game Center problem

Not sure if this is in the right forum, please move if so.

I am unable to sign out of Game Center on my iPad, I go to Settings - Game Center and click on my ID and select Sign Out but as soon as I close settings and go back in its automatically signed me in again!!

Anyone have any idea as to why this is? Any fix?

PS It signs out fine on my iPhone.
