iPhone Game Center turns itself on

Once a month Game Center turns itself on - I turn it off and then a month later it turns itself back on.
Anyone else have this problem and any way to stop it happening

I'm not sure it's a "once a month" type thing - I thought it was after every iOS update? It's extremely annoying, whichever it is.

It maybe only after update = I know it does it then but I think is sometimes does it without and update

Yep. Not sure what triggers it. I have no games on my phone, so toggle it off when I notice it, but it doesn't seem to be affecting anything when it's on. Nothing listed under Battery, so I doubt it's doing anything idle.

If you have no games that are Game Center enabled, then you have no idea how annoying this can be.
