Game Center

I am having trouble signing out of Game Center on my iPad mini. I have no problem signing out on my iPhone but whenever I go to Settings -> Game Center and click "sign out" from my apple ID, it signs me out but then instantly signs me back in.

Anyone else run into this problem? Is there a way to sign out of Game Center within the actually app itself?

Game Center

Sign out. And then sign back in with made up information like the wrong password. You might have to do that more than once.

There's obviously a bug that we have to do this to stay signed out. Been like this since iOS 6.

Game Center is useless and should be removed from iOS 8.
