With all the games coming out for the iphone & touch, and comparisons being made to Nitendo DS and Sony PSP, is there any technical reason why there could not be a slider type accessory that would add the missing game controls? Seems that someone could come out with a slider with buttons for firing/control on the right, joystick/cursor control cross on the left, with iphone or touch in a horizontal position. iphone placed into the adapter, with connections through dock connector, maybe even with a supplemental battery as part of the pack?

this will be possible with the 3.0 software update, and imo will most definitely happen in the near future. Concepts were already made before, and now that apple is allowing apps to interact with external apps, its only a matter of time until this type of thing appears
