I know there has been posts concerning this topic, but I have searched and searched and not found one to address how to use the driver. From the start, I have read that the xbox 360 wired usb game controller will work on a mac. I bought one and download the driver from a site listed in a post here. The install was successful, but I don't know how to get the mac to recognize the driver so it will work. I have plug and unplugged several times and I have restarted several times. Nothing. Can someone please help me?

Install the driver from here.

And then when that's setup, you should be able to see if your PC is recognising it by going into System Preferences and then to Xbox 360 Controllers, and then mashing some buttons etc.

If you want to map the buttons to do certain things, you may have to get Gamepad Companion.
