I guess I am a pessimist. I can just imagine this ending with perhaps the worst heartbreak of them all (well... second after buckner). Probably I've just been a red sox fan too long. :p
Not that we here in Cleveland (the Drive; the Fumble [Browns], the Shot [Cavs] and the Choke [Indians, two outs away from winning Game 7 of the '97 World Series]) would know anything about that. :(

I don't know which is more amusing - Red Sox with 8 runs on 6 hits, or the Yankees with only 1 hit so far...

You know...

it is so sweet to never give up a dream and then to have it all come true!

the greatest comeback in baseball history

the curse of the Yawkeys is history.

Welcome home Roger (Go Astros!)

As a result of this past Yankees vs. Red Sox game 7 embarrassment to and from the Yankees, I'm barely a Yankees fan anymore, but I'm more of a Yankees fan than a fan of any other team of any other sport.

All righty (well, actually I'm not all right)... I expect the Cards. (guessing that they'll win the other "Game SEVEN") to whoop the Sox in the World Series.

I never watch baseball.

Some reason I watched this series, starting on Sunday Night.
I thought they had no chance with the 19-8 drubbing of the night before. Boy was a I wrong. Let's just say that I've gotten little to NO hw done in the last 3 days.

I don't think the Red Sox will stop just here either. Too many things have happened for it to just stop now.

Oh sure, Boston by no means has a lock on heart break. But we sure are competitive in that category, no?

I called before the Division series started Red Sox vs. Astros. (yes, I changed by tune after game 3, but that was my prediction from the very beginning.)

So, Sox fans - who would the Sox rather face? Astros or Cards? I say Cards because Clemens/Oswalt/Lidge is just too scary. I mean, the Cards can knock the crap out of the ball, but so can the Yankees. The pitching scares me more.

SOX FINALLY WIN!!!!!!

Haha, geez, I thought you guys were talking about the World Series all this time! :p Oh okay, Sox in the World Series now.....sweet.

I actually should have remembered that it's impossible for the Sox and Yankees to play in the World Series, but since I haven't followed baseball since the lockout in 1994(?) and the Blue Jays collapse (and I'm only 24 years old), I guess I'm excused.

Why the mention of Bonds, then? Is he a Cardinal or Astro now? Anyway, I hope Clemens' team loses.

Congrats to the Sox
Game 7 was less dramatic than game 4, 5 or 6, but what an incredible feat.

Do they have enough left to actually win the series now?
The "curse" isn't just the Yankees... but the series.
Just getting there the last few times didn't qualify... so neither will this time unless they win.

It would be interesting to see Clemens pitching in the series in Fenway if the Astros make it.

Good luck Sox

Heck yeah, in that regard we're brethren.

Hey, enjoy it! You're going to The Big Game. Hope you have better luck than we did. :D
