I just put Black Hawk Down on my PB. The .dmg file is on the desktop. I double clicked it, it opened up and there was a readme and a folder. Soo i dragged the folder into my apps folder for it to install. When it finished installing, i went into the apps folder and double clicked the image that runs the game. It told me to insert the cd, but i had the .dmg file mounted already. Whats going on?

they out smarted you

They test now for the actual cd rom drive. I use to do the same thing you do with the .dmg for Halo so I wouldn't have to get out the cd everytime I wanted to play, but in one of the updates made it only work with the CD. Burn the .dmg to a cd using Disk Utility. Problem solved.

I wish i could burn it to a cd, but the .dmg file is over 1 gig. So much for burning.

Then burn it to DVD. Thats what you get for trying to pirate a game now a days.
