Nintendo all the way.

For my money, Nintendo has always had the best systems. Mostly because the games for it rock. I never understood people saying the games were too childish.

As I said in another thread, a game lacking blood and violence doesn't necessarily mean its intended for children. Personally, I don't get a kick out of games where killing and destruction is the goal...and I left puberty some time ago.

I really think the mindset of people who like Nintendo is different from those who like Playstation. You guys go out and kill, destroy and rob. I want to save the princess...if you know what I mean (nudge-nudge ;)-;)).

I think you guys just have your priorities mixed up.

Taft, after a rough day at work, nothing beats killing a ton of bots, or bystanders as the case may be. There is something very satisfying about making vehicles blow up (sometimes making them flip in the air too :D) or gunning down a ground troop from a chopper. Then, of course, there is the ever famouse 'head shot' from UT.

Since it isn't a good idea to run around doing these things in the real world (a thing called prison, and having a cell-mate named 'Bubba' is a huge turn off for me) we have to resort to using computers to get our daily allowance of carnage.

I guess my life just isn't full of this kind of rage. As I said in my first post my priorities lie elsewhere (nudge-nudge ;)-;)) and I'm just not into blowing stuff up.

Peace man.

Well, I'm between the nudge-nudge items at present, so the killing takes it's place :D.

Hope that changes soon. Then again (slightly off-topic) when I start going to the HOG functions, maybe I will meet someone. Some cute woman with her own ride.. now THAT would be sweeeeet :D

For everyone that voted for anything other than Sony's offering, I have three words for ya:

P

S

3

Backward compatibility with a huge library of games, and more raw horsepower than anything else out there.

ok, and due out in what decade??? Considering how the first playstation came out over 10 years ago, and the second one came out last year. PS3, in 2010??? I am NOT going to wait that long for a game console.

GameCube!!!!

Personally, I'm for GameCube! I've played it only a few times, but I love it! The only beef I have about it is the controller size (I find it a little small, but it's nothing I couldn't get used to). I'd buy it for Smash Bros. Melee, Mario, Star Wars Rogue Squadron II, and one other one (I forget the name). I like the way Nintendo does things, and I've been a loyal fan for years. But, sadly, that doesn't get me any closer to finding $400 (CDN) for the console and a game.

Second choice would be Sony. The games just plain rock! GTA3, FF10, GT, it's all good! I just like Nintendo better =)

I would never give M$ my money. I have yet to give them even one penny, and I refuse to give in. Yes, some Xbox games kick ass, but I hate the design for the system. M$ doesn't know much about game consoles, and they seem to think they can buy their way to victory. Of course, they're certainly welcome to try >:)~

sony and apple? your not serious right? what makes you say that?

doesnt that gamecube use the same processor as the G4?

I was so totally kidding. I have no idea what's going to happen, but on these threads, everyone's all worked up about the G5, and I like macs, so why not combine both for one heck of a neat little gaming machine.

Although, you'd have to admit, Apple's dominance in graphics would make it a fantastic partner for Sony for bashing the crap out of M$'s x-pox.
