Gamepad replaces Keyboard

Hi,
i bought a Gamepad and want to play games with it but at many games i cant play with a gamepad..

then i found a Program named "Controller Mate"
but it is too difficult for me... the programming

are there other programs where i can replace the keyboard/mouse with the gamepad? some butons?

when i can.. i can play... flashgames... gameboy-games (ROM) and many other things

please help me
