Honestly Apple TV always felt like a weird choice for gaming to me. The hardware is fine but Apple clearly doesn’t treat gaming as a priority on tvOS. After they removed the gyro features from the new Siri Remote it kind of killed the fun casual gaming experience too. If someone mainly wants to play games on a TV I think a Nintendo Switch, PlayStation or Xbox just makes a lot more sense.

Yeah, that was the (bizarre) death-nail. We STILL like playing Asphalt on ours (4th Gen)
After they removed gyro, I proceeded to pick-up a 5th-Gen (still has gyro) on OWC cheap.
