Do you think that the MacBook will be able to play these games?

1. Unreal Tournament 2007 (I've talked to the Apple "live help" and they said that it would run just fine - on 4GB of RAM :D )
2. ObsCure 2
3. StarCraft 2 (which is not out yet)
4. Luxor 3 (lol, yeah  )
5. Halo 3

...and also, please post the results of some other games you've played on your MacBook!

Cheers! :D

doubt it.
im preeetty sure UT3 wont run on macbooks...so wont halo 3.
the problem is not RAM...its the video card..x1300 wont handle anything like that.
if you want/need games on a laptop...macbook pro is the way to go...either that or use the excess for a ps3/xbox 360...thats what i did..ha

You might try searching the forums to see what others have said about those games. Particularly in the games forums, where more users are likely to be playing the software you listed.

Halo 3 and UT3 will not run... I have had very little luck with any game like these, which is why I am switching to a MBP.

UT not a chance, Halo3, maybe

but with low settings

look, Macbook is not meant for games, if you love game so much, MBP is the one for you

Singapore!
CSS on all low settings will work.Even then, only on de_dust (one of the smallest and least textures to render)

Get a MBP if you want games.

You're going to have the most difficult time playing Halo 3 on a Macbook (or PC/Mac), since it's only available for the 360 as of now. Halo 2 is available for Windows though.

Cod2 FTW!

I've enjoyed playing Call of Duty2 on my CD Macbook (see sig). It runs Ok! Except when there's a lot going on. Or heavy smoke effects. Or when I tried to play it online... And the fans kicked in HARD. Other than that, it was great

Thinking about it... I can't recommend it as a gaming laptop.
