Sorry if this was already touched on but Im looking for games that allow android devices and iPhones to play against each other. I favor word games, however I'm open minded. Thanks

I don't think there are any...they are two different platforms.

That has little to do with it. FWIW, I think Words with Friends announced an Android version.

There are about five or so games that allow you. I just don't favor them. I told my friend about words with friends but she said that game wasn't there in the android market. I have to tell her try again. I swore that game was available for both platforms. Hmmm??

Not sure if it's out yet. FYI the Android market filters based on your OS. So if WWF for Android requires 2.2 and she has 2.1, it won't show up. Kind of annoying, IMO.

    We're almost there

We have launched the free app [app]Words4All[/app] last week that will allow users to play back and forth between iOS and Android. It's unique, not only because it will be cross-platform, but also because it has a "Quick" board (in app purchase) that speeds up play but also has a huge strategic element. Hint: play very small words to start. The Android version should be complete in the next few weeks.

I believe [app]UniWar[/app] is available on both platforms.

Galcon is cross platform I believe. The iphone and android players play against each other on the same servers.

If this is true then it's a fantastic example and one other developers should study.

Great game, and this certainly seems plausible.
