Hello everyone!

I am looking to get a couple of games for my macbook (black 1st revision 2ghz Core Duo). Can people be so kind as to post what games they have and how they perform. Obviously I am only this is only relevant to macbooks so that I can assess if my machine will handle the games.

Thanks!!

Looks like I am best off searching google then - just thought it would be nice to get some opinions from other macrumor members.

Don't mean this offensively, but members have been really 'off' on here recently. Newbies get slated for not understanding the forum etiquette and most people just point you in the direction of Google searches. If Google provided adequate info then would there be any point in having specialised forums? Just a thought, not a statement of fact.

or instead of people telling you to search, i gave a mroogle (which are exclusivly threads in MR talking about gaming on a macbook) link of games on a macbook which are pretty much all threads addressing the EXACT same topic as this one. i mean there is no point in rewriting everyone's experience on gaming with a mb for your convience when it has been written down NUMEROUS times already

now i will say you should learn to search before you start a new thread as this forum is a vast resource as evidenced by my link:cool:

World of Warcraft plays very well on even the lowest spec of macbook
however, when in some of the major cities you do get lag, although even the best of computers get lag in those areas.

I have had some problems with age of empires III in multiplayer mode, when I host a multiplayer game and put 6 Comp players in, it freezes all the time :(
I have a Macbook 80GB 1GB ram, 2GHz, (I think its the ram that causes the freezing)

do you guys think spore will be playable on a macbook? in the system requirements the 3100 gfx card is listed as compatible so i wonder how it will run.

My apologies, I didn't bother clicking the link and hence didn't realise it was a MRoogle search. Anyhow, it seems a few people have joined the conversion re what games work on a macbook. Sometimes it is good to engage others and possibly new opinions rather than reading through old posts. :)
