You can buy Xbox 360 wired controllers that work with Windows, and unofficially, OS X. Usually run anywhere from $10 second hand
I'm not 100% sure about it working with COD4 for the Mac, but if you installed Windows on a Boot Camp partition, you could use the controller to play.
