Simple question, what would be a logical resolution for any game. I think its between 1440 and 1920, since 2880 is just too much.
I do notice some difference, but I got battlefield 3 to 40fps with auto setting on 1440.
This is not a IMO question, I am asking will the pixel density in 1440 acts like the native resolution in the rmbp in osx (Best, retina one), or like the cmbp where it has weaker pixel density. Which one does it have while playing a game under bootcamp.

Games run in full screen are stretched to fit the screen. It doesn't matter what "resolution" you set your desktop to be as the game will talk directly with the graphics chip to get the supported resolutions.
