Gaming with Apple TV (and Airplay)?

Has anyone here bought the Apple TV mainly for gaming on their iOS devices?

I am strongly considering getting one as I am having issues with my Lightning to HDMI adapter and my iPad Pro.

I air-played Streetbike on iPad to Apple TV 4 (Airplay Mirroring) and played smoothly no delays. I didn't get an Apple TV 4 just for gaming, but did a few tests. Also GTA Auto Vice City

Thanks! Hmm, the games I am playing are way newer than what you tested with though, it may be a possible cause of the difference we are seeing. Are you playing any newer games recently?
