Gap between dock and window

Hello,

I've set my dock to the left side of the screen, but there's a small gap between the dock and the window, which I find annoying. How do I remove that gap?

You're not the first with that complaint. You might be the first to fix it, if you find a solution. But that would mean not asking someone else. I don't think it's been solved, you just have to live with it.
